Just a bunch of minor updates!
As a reminder, I make posts about my Livestream sessions via my Tumblr, as it's the easiest method. I will no longer keep real-time videos
-- so if you're interested in watching me color a picture, consider following me on Tumblr to stay updated. On that note, my streams are now limited to one hour, as it's my preferred time limit coloring goal.
To make things even easier, I've also decided to make Sunday my official day for streaming
an illustration. If a stream is indeed happening on a particular Sunday, I'll make a post on Tumblr as a head's up, and include the time of the session, as always. I'm hoping this will address the people who have messaged me after a stream in their disappointment of having missed a coloring session.
This year's going by pretty quick! With my commission availability being open by June 1st
, I've taken note of a certain amount of interest in people receiving a real-time video of me coloring their commission, along with the finished picture. While I've accepted an offer with a recent commission as a trial, I'll have an official decision come autumn.
That said, thanks again to the patience of those waiting to receive an illustration from me. :] In the midst of time-management and dealing with health-related concerns, I'm still adamant on being caught up before the end of May, when I plan to start this year's Summer Daze
My summer picture series finally has a nifty name, hehe. I had learned earlier this year that 'summer daze' is an anniversary two friends choose to keep each year through the exchange of personal belongings.
I thought it would be nifty to name the series after this 'holiday', since I consider these retro illustrations something like a gift to my friends and fans-- as well as a form of thanks to the creators of these shows. They made my childhood awesome, and bringing the characters to life in my own work has been both fun and challenging. A short thanks to the comments I get with people who have admired what I'm doing! As an underground artist, I didn't expect these pictures to be as popular as they are, so it means a lot to me for people to appreciate them.
And so, thanks again, and happy May! Keep it real.
